The 431 Foundation
Keep our Rite facility
competitive in the Northeast Indiana market
and preserve a local landmark.
The Scottish Rite Auditorium was designed by local architect Guy Mahurin
and built in 1925. It is an outstanding example of the Spanish Eclectic
style. Chandeliers, other light fixtures and terrazzo flooring in the
lobby are all original. The stage (Fort Wayne's largest for decades!)
is supported by ample wing and fly space to handle Broadway shows.
In the lower level, the Valencia Ballroom and Banquet Hall
features both large and small spaces, and is handicapped accessible.
The 431 Foundation is a not-for-profit organization created to prepare
the Scottish Rite Auditorium facility for the next century. Your contribution
is needed in this major fundraising campaign. Your tax-free contribution
may be made through cash, stocks, check, wills or trusts.
