Grant County's 25th Degree

February 12, 2008

A special "Thank you!" to Grant County for an excellent performance of the 25th Degree at this month's Stated Meeting and Table Lodge.  Despite inclement weather there were approximately 80 brothers in attendance.  Thank you to all whom braved the elements!
Here are a few pictures of the great work.

Annual Wine Tasting
And Silent Auction

February 15, 2008

Three hundred twenty persons enjoyed the Annual Scottish Rite Wine Tasting even held on Friday.  Andy Lebamoff and his crew of wine connoisseurs complimented the terrific food from Goeglein's.  Friends of the Scottish Rite provided over 110 gifts upon which silent auction bids were made.  The "Live Auction" at the end of the evening proved to be exciting as well.  There were three vacations; Maine, Dallas Lake, and Sarasota, Florida which went to three happy bidders.  Look forward to another exciting evening next February brought to you by the Fort Wayne Valley Scottish Rite!

Great turnout for the traveling Table Lodge March 11, 2008 held at Samaritan Lodge #105 in Marion, IN.  It was nice to have FULL house.

Four new candidates were present for the 4th degree performed by various members of the Fort Wayne Valley. Please welcome new brothers; Joe Barker, Stan Heath, Nicholas Kantzer, and Nathan McBee.  Having the Scottish Rite Choir perform was a special bonus.

Congratulations to the four gentlemen and to the Valley for their efforts.

A Special thank you to Samaritan Lodge #105 for hosting the event!  The spaghetti dinner was spectacular!  JB's sauce was particularly delightful!
