Happenings for March, 2015


Double-Eagle-Logo-200pxMarch 10th Stated Meeting will be held at the Murpah Shrine Center, 3222 E. McGalliard Road, Muncie, IN 46303.  The 4° will be available at 6 p.m. for any new candidates with Stated Meeting following  at 7 p.m.  Immediately following the abbreviated business meeting we will break for the presentation of the 16° Prince of Jerusalem, as well as a wonderful dinner.  Don’t forget your passports!

The Valley of Fort Wayne will be hosting a Degree Makeup Session on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 6 p.m. at the Valley Office, 829 Lawrence Drive.  This will be provided to all of our candidates prior to the March 28th Convocation to ensure that they all have the opportunity to have all their degree requirements completed prior to receiving their 32° that Saturday.  4°, 6°, 12°, 22°, 24° and 29° will be available via DVD.

Our Spring 2015 Convocation will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the Mizpah Shrine Center,1015 Memorial Way, Fort Wayne.  Registration will begin at 3 p.m. followed by the presentation of the 32° promptly at 4 p.m.  as will the separate program for our ladies.  There will be class photos and a cocktail reception immediately following the 32° around 5:30 p.m. with dinner to follow at 6:45 p.m.  Tickets will be $15.00 per person and will include premium dinner selections.  Please call the Valley Office at (260) 423-2593 to make your reservation and your dinner selections today.

Abbott Scholarships are due April 1, 2015 – The Abbott Scholarship Program provides financial support for the continuing education of young men and women from Scottish Rite families and Masonic-related youth groups.  Eligibility requirements and guidelines can all be found on the application form which can be accessed via this website.  Applications should be in the Valley Office NO LATER than April 1, 2015.

Brother to Brother Calling session for this month will be on Monday, March 23, 2015 at 6 p.m.  If you plan on attending, please let us know as soon as possible for a proper head count for dinner.  Your Masonic wages await!
