Double-Eagle-Logo-200pxTomorrow is May Day – the Celebration of Spring, so when you’re finished dancing around the Maypole, get out your calendar and note these important dates that you won’t want to miss!

Reservations are due May 8th for the Officers Banquet & Installation scheduled for Friday, May 15th.  Cocktails begin at 6:15 pm with dinner at 7 pm   followed by Installation at 8 pm at the Shrine Center, 1015 Memorial Way.  Menu selections are your choice of Prime Rib, Norwegian Salmon or Pasta Primavera accompanied by Spinach Mandarin Salad, Baked Potato, Vegetables and Apple, Cherry or Peach Fruit Crisp.  Just $30.00 per person.  Attire for the evening is formal for 33°m MSA’s and Officers and their ladies – Dark suit/business attire for all others.  Gentlemen, please wear your caps and jewels.  Call the office at 260-423-2593 to get those reservations in on time!

Stated Meeting is Tuesday, May 12th at the Valley Office.  KSA will meet at 5:45 pm, the 4° will be available for any new candidates at 6 pm and 7 pm is Stated Meeting followed by the Afterglow hosted by the Lodge of Perfection.

Reservations are due on May 14th for the 33° Association Annual Spring Meeting that will be held on Thursday, May 21st at Hall’s Guesthouse beginning at 6:15 p.m. in the Mallory Room.  Be sure to make your checks payable to the 33° Association.  Attire for the evening will be sport coat and tie.

Brother to Brother Calling will be on Monday, May 18th this month since the fourth Monday falls on Memorial Day.  Gather at the Valley Office at 6 pm to make calls and then have a break for dinner.   Calling continues until around 8:30, so it’s not a late evening – come and help us fulfill that Masonic obligation!

Looking ahead, we have one more reservation deadline this month.  May 27th is the last day to get your reservation in for the Arena Dinner Theatre outing scheduled for June 20th.   Tickets are $35.00 for dinner and the play.   We invite you to join us for fun, food and frivolity at the Arena Dinner Theatre on June 20th.  Doors open at 6:15 pm with dinner at 7 followed by the play – “Daddy’s Dyin’ – Whose Got the Will” at 8 pm.  This play centers around a reunion of family gathered to await the imminent demise of their patriarch and the rebirth of the spirit of the family unit.  Like a good summer novel, it’s a fast, delicious, easy read with funny and tense moments and characters you’ll care about.  Reservations may be made by credit card by calling the Valley Office at 423-2593 or by mailing your check to the Scottish Rite, 829 Lawrence Drive, Fort Wayne, IN 46804.

On August 1st will be our Scottish Rite Evening with the Tin Caps, so mark your calendars for this date and we will begin our ticket sales at the May 12th Stated Meeting.
